Our Town Center

We chose Hampstead because of its lifestyle, convenience. As a long-term investment, this was an affordable option for our business and one that will grow in value over the years. Our business has grown and our employees love working here.
— Scott Bell, Owner Bell Media

Located on Taylor Road, our Town Center is the heart of activity at Hampstead. Just one mile from the Vaughn Road intersection, and seconds from Park Crossing and Montgomery's newest schools, our local restaurants, shops, small businesses and park spaces create an exciting, beautiful place to spend time.

Hampstead Institute

Hampstead Institute

The Hampstead Institute is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to education and healthy living through New Urbanism and sustainable community building. Founded in 2008, we oversee the Hampstead Farm, organize large annual community events like The Food Invasion, interact with other non-profits, and promote life-long education and learning through civic arts, architecture and design - all within Hampstead and the wider region.

The Hampstead Institute believes in the ability of good design to improve the daily lives and opportunity of all, and to this end we educate, create, and implement to generate positive change in our shared community.

The Hampstead Institute has served different roles over the past decade. Originally created in 2008 to foster culture and learning within our community, the Institute saw the need to focus its mission to include education in the fields of design, development, wellness and sustainable living. We hosted New Urbanist leaders for workshops and lectures on subjects from sustainability and architecture to organic farming and literacy.

As time went on, the Hampstead Institute founded EAT South, which we helped grow into its own entity, and established a long-term relationship of support with the Montessori School at Hampstead in its hands-on curriculum at our farm and throughout the Hampstead community.

Today, we continue to focus on educational and local food endeavors with the Montessori School at Hampstead and Hampstead Farm. We promote the support of other non-profits throughout the region including the Montgomery Area Food Bank, the YMCA of Greater Montgomery, and the Montgomery Humane Society to name a few. Additionally, the institute is highlighting the benefits of culture, design and civic art within community. These efforts will be visible through community events and support for the arts and artists throughout Hampstead.
